ELEMENTS OF DESIGN
Each of our pens are made with Hawaiian Koa (A very beautiful and expensive wood only found in Hawaii). We then combine other exotic woods and materials form all over the world to create one-of-a-kind designs and inlays thus giving each pen character along with a unique look. The process in creating every inlaid wood pen takes three days in which we cut, laminate, and turn each by hand. We use no CNC machining or duplicating devices making each pen unique.
Every one of our pens are finished with a very durable finish. Unilike many other wood pens, this finish is water resistant therefore the oils from your hands will not absorb into the wood.
Metal hardware is also a consideration we look out for. Many of our pens are plated with a thick layer of Platinum and Rhodium to prevent tarnish. The Gold and Titanium metal parts are plated using Titanium Oxide which forms a much stronger bond to the metal than electrostatic plating. We use the
highest quality metal hardware we can find so that our clients will
receive the most pleasure out of each and everyone of our pens. |
